Mary Bridge Children's Foundation
Best and safest care for kids
MultiCare Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital is one of the nation’s leading pediatric hospitals, seeing over 300,000 visits each year. More than half of families served are low-income, and 62 percent of patients rely on Medicaid coverage and programs.
Thanks to generous donors, Mary Bridge Children’s Foundation champions infants, children and young adults across the Pacific Northwest by supporting uncompensated care and clinical and community programs not fully covered by insurance.
Meet Iris

Iris, 12, is a chess whiz, big reader and cat lover from Bainbridge Island who’s currently battling acute lymphoid leukemia. Donor-powered programs like Beads of Courage and her expert Mary Bridge Children’s care team have been instrumental in her fight against the disease.
Urgent funding needs
New hospital campus
With your help, we have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to build a state-of-the art pediatric campus, featuring a new hospital tower, outpatient center and visitor parking garage.
Pediatric cancer care
Your contributions provide patients undergoing advanced care for childhood cancers and blood disorders with access to oncology research and clinical trials, along with direct aid for basic needs.
Child Life Services
For 45 years, Mary Bridge Children’s Child Life Services has minimized stress and anxiety in the hospital setting for patients and their families through procedural support, diagnosis education, supportive relationships and therapeutic play opportunities. Your donations fund 100 percent of the program’s supplies.
Helping Hands
This special fund is at the heart of compassionate, community-based health care. Your generosity helps remove barriers — like transportation, medication, medical equipment and meals — to ensure kids are safer and receiving the care they need at home or in the hospital.
Where The Need Is Greatest
Managed by volunteers who represent the various populations and geographic areas Mary Bridge Children’s serves, Where The Need Is Greatest provides unrestricted funding for our communities’ greatest health needs. These include Bridges Center for Grieving Children, Mary Bridge Community Services – Health Promotion, Parenting Partnership and more.
