Lake Tapps breast cancer survivor’s MultiCare journey

As Sumner’s Trudy Bleiler crossed the finish line at Come Walk With Me 2024, Good Samaritan Foundation’s annual breast health walk, she was overcome with emotion.

“All my people started chanting my name,” she remembers. “It hit me like a ton of bricks that I was really in this fight and certainly not alone. It brought me to tears.”

Having completed radiation, Trudy is grateful to have received breast cancer treatment close to home and for the funds raised for care right in her community.
