Wholehearted caregiving

More than a place, MultiCare Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital is defined by wholehearted caregiving — and our community’s boundless love for children.

We’re growing, just like the kids we serve. We have opened clinics in communities near you and are building one of the most advanced children’s hospitals in the nation, increasing access to pediatric health care.

Chances are you have children in your life, and as soon as 2026, they’ll have access to a new level of world-class care right here in the South Sound! This new ambulatory building and hospital will help Mary Bridge Children’s care for more infants, youth and young adults, regardless of a family’s ability to pay.

A world-class city deserves a world-class hospital.

Currently embedded within a bustling adult care hospital, Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital sees over 300,000 visits annually. And the number of children in our region is set to increase to 542,000 by 2028.

Together, we have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to rebuild Mary Bridge Children’s and meet this demand. Construction on the new ambulatory building and hospital is underway and slated to be completed in early 2026.

Inspired by a child’s curiosity and their ability to find beauty in the unexpected, the entire campus is designed with kids in mind, and we have named our fundraising campaign for the new Mary Bridge Children’s campus, The Wonder Project.

With the help of Mary Bridge Children’s staff and a generous community of donors, our campus will become a beacon of hope and healing for generations to come.

Key features of this transformative project include dedicated pediatric operating rooms, imaging, a pharmacy, infusion, expanded emergency department capabilities and specialized areas for behavioral health crisis assessment and triage.
